Schooltrip to Jotunheimen

Last week from tuesday to friday we were on a schooltrip to Jotunheimen. We took the bus to get there and the first stop were Lillehammer where we could have something to eat. Next stop was a place named Helvete. Helvete is some really big potholes from the ice age.

After that we went to Sjoa where we slept in tents. On wednesday almost all of us went rafting at Sjoa rafting. I was in a boat with some other girls. It was pretty cold when we first went in the water, but we kept warm by rowing. Most of the time it was really fun! but our boat tipped over and we fell out. I ended up under the boat and that was really scary. When the boat were tipped back i couldn't reach our boat, but I found another boat that was closer.

When we got back to the camping, we had to take the tents down and put on some warm and dry clothes before we headed to Juvfonna. Juvfonna is a big ice tunnel made in an ice drift which is several thousand years old. It was pretty amazing to see what they have done with the ice drift.

Thursday was the most demanding day. We went to the roof of Norway, Galdhøpigen. Luckily the weather was good, it was sunny and almost not a single cloud to see. It was amazing to stand at the top of Norway. After we climbed down again, we went to the hostel and relaxed before the journey home again.

It was four incredible days that I will remember for a long time. Thank you for the trip.
